Music Is Therapy
After a long day of work, you’re finally excited to be home again. After a hot shower and a full belly, you look over to see that nice bottle of unopened Josh red wine sitting on the kitchen counter. As you pour into the wine glass, you reflect back on the long day you’ve had at work. You head over to the couch and search through your YT playlist to put on Snoh Aalegra ‘Do 4 Love’. As you sit there looking out at the night time skyline view while swirling your glass of wine, the music gives you an instant relief and the thoughts you were having are now gone.
It’s amazing how the art of music can take our minds away from reality for a moment. The melody, the lyrics & the gifted voices that sing is therapeutic to our ears. Not only is it therapeutic but it decreases anxiety, helps with emotional stress, etc. Music overall is a healer and gives us the opportunity to do what we often can't do and that’s enjoy the moment.
